Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Wade is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of New York and registered telehealth provider in the State of Florida where she provides psychotherapy to adults and psychological assessment to both children and adults in-person and virtually. Her current approach to psychotherapy treatment is to focus on the root causes of psychological distress by exploring history and patterns of relating to others and increasing the understanding and tolerance of thoughts that had previously been beyond one's conscious awareness. She incorporates her knowledge of cognitive behavioral strategies related to reducing symptoms and suffering into this work. To continue to deepen her understanding of this relational approach to psychotherapy, Dr. Wade is currently an Analytic Candidate at NYU's Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. Her approach to neuropsychological assessment is collaborative, with a focus on providing clear, in-depth feedback related to her findings and practical, constructive recommendations for next steps.
